I spent the morning with staff from the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay as they checked up on young trees that were planted last fall at three farms.

I hiked the Raven Rocks trail with the Sierra Club Virginia Chapter as one of their “Wild Weekend” events. The hike was an out-and-back 10-mile route that connected with the Appalachian Trail.
